Day Trip Overview

Join us for a full-day excursion to the lush Ourika Valley, one of Morocco’s most beautiful and well-preserved valleys. The valley is home to charming Berber villages clinging to the mountainsides, scenic rocky landscapes, and flowing rivers that create a harmonious blend of nature and culture at the edge of the Western Atlas Mountains.

The journey begins with pick-up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech. We drive along the valley, visiting several small towns and villages along the way, taking in the stunning scenery and vibrant local life. You will have the chance to explore traditional Berber culture by visiting a Berber house, where you can see how traditional bread is prepared and enjoy a cup of authentic Moroccan tea.

A stop at the Setti Fatma village will allow you to take a short walk to the cascades, a series of small waterfalls nestled in the mountains. For those interested, a local guide can accompany you to explore the waterfalls more thoroughly.

During the day, you will also have the option to visit a botanical garden showcasing the region’s unique flora. A delicious Moroccan lunch can be enjoyed in a local riverside restaurant (approximately €10 per menu, not included in the trip price), offering the perfect view of the flowing river and surrounding landscapes.

After a relaxing day exploring the Ourika Valley, we return to Marrakech, arriving back in the late afternoon.
