Day 1: Marrakech Arrival
Upon arrival at Marrakech airport or any point in the city, our team from Le Sahraoui Tours will welcome you with a sign and transfer you to a charming riad in the Medina. You can take your first steps into Marrakech by visiting the famous Jamaa el-Fna square, enjoying street food, live music, storytellers, traditional dances, and games. Overnight in a charming riad in the heart of the Medina.

Day 2: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Dades Valley
After breakfast, depart Marrakech via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, crossing the majestic Atlas Mountains with scenic photo stops along the way. Optional visit to a women’s cooperative producing argan oil, where you can learn about the process and purchase culinary and beauty products. Continue to Ouarzazate, visiting the UNESCO-listed Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, and, if interested, the famous film studios. Next, explore Skoura Oasis, known for its lush palm groves and secret kasbahs. Continue through the Rose Valley to the stunning Dades Valley, with dinner and overnight at a riverside hotel.

Day 3: Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga (Erg Chebbi Desert)
After breakfast, travel along scenic roads lined with ksour (fortified villages) and kasbahs, passing rocky plateaus where camels graze. Visit Tineghir and the spectacular Todra Gorges, then continue to Erfoud, the fossil city, and Rissani, known for its lively market and nomadic trade. Arrive in Merzouga, where the towering dunes of Erg Chebbi await. Enjoy a welcome tea at your hotel, with optional quad or buggy excursions, before riding a camel into the desert to reach your desert camp. Spend the night under the stars with dinner and a traditional Berber drum party around the fire.

Day 4: Merzouga – Alnif – Draa Valley – Marrakech
Rise early to witness one of the most spectacular sunrises in the desert. After breakfast, return to the hotel by camel, then begin the journey back to Marrakech through the Draa Valley, home to some of Morocco’s longest rivers and stunning kasbahs. Stop to explore Berber villages, fascinating geological formations, and lush palm groves. Cross the Atlas Mountains again, arriving in Marrakech around 8:00 PM for hotel drop-off.

Day 5: Marrakech City Tour – Departure
Enjoy a guided half-day tour of Marrakech, including the Koutoubia Minaret, the Saadian Tombs, and Bahia Palace, with its famous Ambassador’s Hall and cedar ceilings. Stroll through the vibrant Jamaa el-Fna square, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to the airport to conclude your journey.
